Delete your account

You can delete your Mecora account here without the app. Deleting is permanent and removes your account and the data linked to it: your email and profile, learning progress, chat history stored on our servers, courses you created, and your remaining AI allowance. Purchases and subscriptions are managed by Google Play or the App Store — cancel any active subscription there first, otherwise it may keep renewing.

Delete some of your data without deleting the account

You can remove parts of your Mecora data and keep your account:

• Chat history with a tutor: open the chat, tap the tutor's name at the top → Clear history. Long-press a single message to delete just that message.
• Courses you created: Learn → My courses → swipe or long-press the course → Delete. Its text, images and generated audio are removed from our servers.
• Voice recordings: recordings are used only to transcribe what you said and are not kept after the reply is produced; there is nothing to delete.
• Name, email or avatar: change them under Me → Account; the old values are not retained.
• Anything else (for example learning activity or usage records): email support@mecora.me from the account's address and say what you want removed; we do it within 7 days.

What we keep after such a request: purchase and subscription records required for accounting and for Google Play / App Store refunds, and server logs that expire on their own within 30 days. Deleting the whole account (above) removes everything except those purchase records.
